Brother's Blarney!
Dec 1 1st week of Advent. Well thankfully De went to the Doctor and it was pneumonia (Was right) and is now on inhalers and antibiotics. That girl worries me to death. Sad new this morning as one of my favorite new people is moving to another facility which has assisted living! She is a delight I shall miss her The total income for the Extravaganza came close to $800 with the custom orders and such Nov 25 Weds. The day before Thanksgiving. And I have so much to be Thankful for this year. The success of Des Trinketthouse for 1 and yesterday they got the lab done for Cosset to start a med we hope will help if not eliminate her Destructive Behavior. That would be truly the Greatest Blessing for her and De!!!! And me I still worry about the toll that all this is taking on De. But God and St Joseph and Andre have done a remarkable Job so far and we count on their continued intercessions
Nov 24 Tues I have a monthly tune up with the Chiropractor this morning. It has to be the season Effective Disorder which is causing me to be so tired. I have to have some store hours between now and Christmas for last minute gift shoppers for the trinketthouse.com
Nov 22 Sun We had mass last evening with a repeat record of 26. The two newest people are Catholics and they are the first new ones in many months. It was the feast of Christ the King and Fr did a marvelous Job of creating a wonder aura for the celebration. This past week we had the long awaited Extravaganza where we did better then any of the other Jewelers. De is now ramping up for her own show in Maine Dec 12
Nov 17 Tues How the time does fly as we get ready for the Sale on Thursday for the trinketthouse.com. Father has fixed it so you can now type either the A fore mentioned Address or the new one trinketreehouse.com. I have been working on the on line store every day. Stocking it with new items and labeling every thing now in there. I have started putting the pics to the items as well. I may continue on with that for the rest of the week
Nov 8th Sunday I see I have been absent again for a few days. But I have tired of obsessing about it. Getting ready for the show here in a couple of weeks and De getting ready for her show in a month. That means she has to make at least three of everything and we are getting her the things she needs for her own show. I did buy her a really nice jelery travel case with wheels and 12 trays so that should take care of transportation. Fr order her a banner I have a table cloth and will send her boxes and bags.
Nov 3 Today I disassembled all of the Jewelry in the Salon to take it to Richmond Verena for a show tomorrow. I polished every item and reorganized the earring trees to group similar items together and am trying out the new traveling jewelry trays. So far so good. I did receive a note from the YMCA director at York town stating that there was no room for me at their Dec Showing. I hsve written a terser note to the YCCC secretary and will follow it up with another either phone call or missive
Nov 2 All Souls Day. I spent a bit more time today praying for the Poor Souls especially for those who have no one to pray for them. Also I contacted the Verena in Richmond to confirm our show there on Weds. Come to find out they are in a counfuffal as they just announced that that facility had been sold. There had been rumors of its sale in months past but that the deal fell through. So I am not sure how this is going to affect the people wanting to buy anything..but St Joseph and St Andre must want us to go so we will. If nothing else to lend moral support to the people there
NOV 1 All Saints Day We had mass yesterday Evening and it really was quite a Joy filled one. Father Gave a fire side Chat at the End of Mass that was totally spontaneous and it really was quite up lifting. I finished inventorying the new items we received and delivered the ordered items. We are preparing for our show iat Verena Richmond Weds and then a large show here in two weeks
Oct 31 Sat All Hallows Eve. Last night they had a party for the Verena Residence and a very good showing. The costumes were delightful and it was fun Fr Went as Bing Crosby with his habit and a Straw hat (GOING MY WAY Fame)
Oct 27 Tues. Well yesterday started off on very unpleasant note with one of the residents having a break and me having to subdue her and get her inside.. And the rest of the day continued on a downward spiral. today will be better!
Oct 26th Well where have we been I can make all kinds of excuses but to be honest I just havent been motivated to write. The Christmas season is fast approaching and I have been busy praying and working ont eh Trinket Tree House Stock and software. I think I have completed approximately 89% of the package. In the mean time we did take a trip to Western Va for a couple of days....And that was a pleasant break! Next week we have a jewelry showing in Richmond at the Verena and then Nov 16th here and Dec 16th in York. DFi has been invited to show at St Johns in Brunswick which is really quite a honor and it would really help to get her name out locally.
Oct 3rd Last week we were involved with the Papal Visit to the USA this week we were involved with the Hurricane visiting the USA. Thank God it was diverted out to sea as it was a Major Hurricane with wind 144 mph. Father and i Restocked and re arranged all the rooms in the trinketthouse.com DE has so many new items that it would take a web site the size of the Vatican to display everything. I have procured new lights for the case downstairs these are rechargeable batteries as it was getting costly doing the others. We will see how they do
Sept 28th I continue to work on the Pics for the web site Photo-shopping them and sorting them for the web site store. We need to redo the web site soon
Sept 27th Sun This week has been spent following Pope Francis on his tour of the USA from Cuba to Philadelphia! All you can say is a Saint walks among us! Our first Public showing was cancelled due to a Nor Easter and It did blow and rain all day. So I have again put the outcomes into St Joseph and Andres hands. After all if they had wanted it to happen it would have. I am trying not to worry and let God do that.
Sept 17 Thurs Today would have been Frs Dingas mothers 90th Birthday. and she has been gone now 30 years. My mom 35 years. That is one thing about living here you are faced with the reality of Death every day. And of Illness as well. Some times this bothers me but them I think what a blessing to be reminded of the present and how precious it is
Sept 16 Weds
Sept 15 Tues Again took Communion to one of the confined People in the community. Ordered more Gems for De and bird seed for the birds. Sept 14 Mon
Sept 13 Sunday Well once again I lost a few days. I now see why some people discontinue their daily missives But Yesterday I had an hour in the Salon for a pre-Christmas Shopper which was quite a good sale. Then at 3 PM father conducted a renewal of wedding vows for our elder Italian Couple 69 yrs married. A g
Sept 9 Weds Holy Mother of God it was hot today 92 way into the evening hours. The poor Garden plants are not able to take this heat as they are about at the end of their productivity. I am expecting a shipment of Jewelry from Maine tomorrow and still have to complete the soft ware for the trinktthouse.
Sept 8 Tues
Sept 7 Mon and Labor Day.. This Holiday is always one for reminiscing not only because it was the last big camping weekend for the Lake Francis crowd but also because school stated the next day (how cruel is that?) Fr finally got the Windows 10 in or should I say my old computer transferred over to windows 10 in another computer. This is the first real thing I have done on the new one. So far so good
Sept 6 Sun A soft day. I did some more work on the Veranda thinning out things that had gone bye. I have one morning glory the first of the season and it is stunning. We went to long horn for dinner and I had french onion Soup and bread what a wonderful Autumn meal
Sept 5 Sat Well I see that I have been remiss in entering our diary! AI'm not sure what happened those days. But lets assume I was frightfully busy. Sat however was a very busy day the morning I did some fall clean up of the Veranda Garden the Cucumber met its demise and gave me number 26 cucumber. But what is of greater interest Ellen Novy dropped by for a couple of hours on her way back from FL and NC. Its just like we had seen each other yesterday and its going on -6 yrs. That was fun
Sept 4 Fri Sept 3 Thu Sept 2 Wed
Sept 1 Tues I could not figure out how to get into this package as the trinketthouse site uses the same format and I couldn't remember the ID. Well I've written it down now so we are all set. I have been taking communion to Dr G as he still has his foot in a splint. We have put in many hours in the on line store. I have applied for a table at the York Town Fest we should hear back soon.
Aug 30 Sun Even though it was Sunday Fr and I put in several hours stocking the shelves of the on line store. He then retook the pics of the Fire Opal set and they are STUNNING TO SAY THE LEAST. That truly is the premiere piece in the Trinket Tree House Jewelry Line.
Aug 29 Sat
Aug 28 Fri Today I photo shopped pics and took some photos of the new items. I will continue to do that tomorrow as well. I have made preliminary arrangements for a show in Yorktown for Dee's Jewelry.
Aug 27 Thurs Took Communion to Dr Gusaldi today his DVT is much improved probably because of Fathers hands on. I finished checking in the new items from De. 24 separate items in all. The Earring trees look good and I like the appearance of them .
Aug 26 Wed Well the Jewelry arrived and so did the earring tree. We did deliver the necklace to Sals Receptionist yesterday and I did make 3 sales yesterday also. We took Communion to Dr Guisaldi yesterday as well.
Aug 25 Tues Another busy day with a visit to the Acupressure guy (who now has a broken foot) I finally received the earring trees that I had been waiting for and the lights have been attached to the shelves in the cabinet so we will be re displaying the Jewelry in June Salon.
Aug 24 Mon Today Surie is 15 years old. OMG I remember that day well. Her poor mom was hospitalized almost 2 weeks with pre eclampsia and required a C Section. And all those blonde curls she truly was an angel. Well like all lives alot of water has gone under the bridge. That how life works.
Aug 23 Sun. Well to my surprise we went to my favorite Restaurant in York Town to celebrate the success De had last week.
Aug 22 Sat our turn at mass
Aug 21 Fri Well this day was most fortuatist for De. She got approval for SS for Cosette with approx 700 $ a month income. She also got the name of some one promoting Maine Artists and is meeting with a Jelery person in Booth Bay. She is also starting Cossette on a new med we pray this is the Silver Bullet
Aug 20 Thur A very hot day today and the humidity was formidible as well. I spent the whole day doing something but I cant remember what I did :-) It must have been fruitful as all my activities are purposeful. The heat lightning was spectacular last evening and I did what it for a few on the veranda. Today I am going to peruse the gem website looking for special creations for the Holiday season.
Aug 19 Weds Well we are back in the Saddle for the most part. The Garden has been watered and fertilized the hummingbirds have new nectar and the bird feeders down stairs have been filled. Yesterday I started on the software package and sorta reintroduced myself to the Verena Community
Aug 18 Tues We returned home yesterday after a really nice vacation in NYS. We stayed at Bills Aunts home and it was really fun. Casper (the Car) performed perfectly and I love the AC seats. We are back now and putting our hands to the plow so to speak.
Aug 8 Sat. Our weekend for Mass. Spent the day getting ready for the show tomorrow afternoon. We want to get the Christmas Things out so people can see them and giver De a head start for Christmas

Aug 5 Weds Yesterday was again very hot. I have made more progress with the Jewlery Soft Ware. This may be of some assista Aug 4 Tues A very hot day today. Well of course the Salon is now in accessable to me as they put a lock on the door and decided I didnt need a key. So I am praying to St Joseph to fix that problem and he will. I continue to work on the Jewelry soft ware and have made some progress. I find that I am so weary when I am done since it requires many numbers and I am dyslexic with them so I have to really concentrate. But hopefully I will only have to do it once
Aug 3 Mon Errands early morning and then a TERRIBLE LUNCH all Mexican Food. ich. Then working on the Cost Produution spread sheet. I did sell two pair of earring so far this week. only 3 more to go. Thank you St Joseph and Andre !

Aug 1Another busy day dealing with the trinkethouse data. I think I am down to entering one last order sheet. And then it will be on to several other fields in this package. A Work in progress.
Jul;y 31 Fri . Where oh where did July go? Spent the day working on trinketthouse thingss again. I did take the Christmas Trees down to the social and sluck would have it the sun was shinining perfectly in the dining room when I brought them out. It was like fireworks ooo and ahhs. July 30 Thurs Well again today was involved with the trinketthouse and delivering purchases and I did get 3 orders and sold 2 items from stock. I cant wait to see the Autumn collection she is working on
July 29 Weds The order arrived frfom Maine so it was all after noon cataloging, photographing, inspecting, pricing and packaging the Jewelry. I continue to work on the new soft ware but not in the afternoon
July 28 Tues. Most of the afternoon was spent inputing data into the new Jewlery package which is whats on the agenda tomorrow! Father got the Car waxed as Casper had developed fungus on his hood. Strange. We visited the Web Site and changed some of the pics and such .
July 27 Mon Well today after we finished restocking the shelves at the the trinketthouse.com I started to input the data into the new soft ware package and so far so good. But their are a lot of fdata to populate all the fields in this thing. Our resident Jim left for Chicago today. His daughter is taking him back with her and he is going to be in a high rise retirement center right in down town Chicago
July 26 Sunday ] Well we finally got started on up dating the website for trinketthouse.com. It was a slow start since Fr hadnt used the program for some time but we worked on it for several hours. Tomorrow we will finish. De is sending me orders and new items this week that will probably take up most of the week. Checking the things in Photos pricing deliverying etc. I did start on the new soft ware program and albeit its going to be VERY TEDIOUS TO INSTITUTE it should be easy to maintain
July 25 Sat Our Weekend for mass and another busy day I started the tutorials for the new Jewelry Spread Sheet and albeit it is going to be a pain in the butt to populate once it is done it should be easy maintence. Last night we saw a doe with two young fawns and I also saw a rabbit the first Ive seen in years And 30 Geese on the hill. Place is like a
July 24 Fri Again the day weas taken up with photoshopping photos of De's Mostly Tear Drop Creations. I will expand on the user of the program once we get some breathing room. 4 orders yesterday...Thank you St Joseph and Andre. I must admit I love selling these beautiful items. And like giving her suggestions for other designs July 23 Thurs. The morning got off to an early start for a followup visit to the Opthomologist which took 2 hours. I had planned on stocking the shelves in the web site but Fr decided to Reconcile the order we have had so far. That took all after noon. However hee did show me how to photoshop the photos so that take some of that off his plate. I havee had two custom orders so far this week and an over the counter potential one.
July 22 Weds
July 21 Tues I inherited Fathers old new computer and spent two days trying to figure it out. I had Vista and this puppy is Windows 7. Just enough to change every thing and how it acts. Thus the absence of a note yesterday. We are up and running today at about 90% capacity as I continue to look for Icons since there immages have changed as well
July 20 July 19 Sun A really hot hot hot day today. we continued to collect for the items we had received from De with only two left for monday. De has started on some Christmas Things and I have had 3 orders for the Gem Place. She is getting some interest from the facebook account so that's looking up. We have initiated another new line the Tuxedo Collection (Black/Silver Black Gold Black/Black Black/Svorovski. New Years Eve and night out on the town. She has 5 products in the Summer Breeze Collection
July 18 Sat No grass grew under my feet today. It takes longer to set up now we have become for sophisticated and much more product. The People came to claim their orders and to see some of the new products. We had only pics to show of the Christmas Line so far. However we did get 4 orders as well and considering this is the second show this month that wasnt bad. We did get a lady from out side the facility also so that is good. Father has a new computer high high tech. And OMG it was hot a humid i got to sit on the Verenda watching the rain that is such an asthetic experience
July 17 Fri The order finally arrrived after being delivered to the wrong address for the second time. It was a flurey to get the orders all checked in. Prices with tax mad. We had a number of new items to price and tag and pics of the Christmas Items to display July 16 Thurs Yesterday I ordered a large number of Beads, Crystals and Pearls for De autumn and Christmas line. Tomorrow he customized items should arrive. I hgave to get permission for another showing to show people the vast number of different ideas she can come up with. July 15 Weds Today was a trip to Michaels to see if I could find Colored Pearls for the mothers day ring with the 4 stones. I did come up with some shipping those tomorrow to De. July 14 Tues. This morning I had 4 cucumbers large enough to harvest. The mis-shapped one i cut up and put into to my vieneger, brine sugar solution. The tomatoes however continue to suffer blossum end rot. I have increased the amount of CA++ I have given the plant so hopefully the newly formed Blossems will be free of tha. I also added for egg shells to the pot. July 13 Mon Today the major activity was a trip to the Jeep Dealers. To find out why this GPS was limitd to 3 street address numbers. Well After some time and discussion. The GPS isnt limited to 3 numbers but that the stree address in the Area only went to 3 numbers. The Street even though it said it was part of Richmond was indeed Henrico CO and once we put the address in there it had up to 6 digits to accomodate the street numbers.
July 12 Sun I should have known when Fr says I have a surprise for you...We were takin gCasper for a Run and trying out his GPS. Well from the get go it started badly. we were 30 mins just getting out of town. To make a long storye short the GPS only takes 3 street address numbers the one we had was 5. And it just went down hill from there. We finally made it to the Abbey at about2:30 and on our way home the road we had taken before was closed with no detour. This placed us 20 miles North of Richmond on the way back. Then I suggested York Town for Dinner a 10 mile back up. Thus we got onto an alternative RD making it York town fine. But then a waitress that made your teeth hurt. Aonly to get back home and one of our friends hit the floor with her head so I went and did a house call. NEXT TIME THE PRIEST SAYS I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU RUN RUN RUN
July 11 Sat Our turn at mass again three weeks in a row. Other wise a non eventfull day. July 10 Fri Spent quite a bit of time on the verenda tending the plants this heat really causes alot of stress to them. SI find I water some twice a day and every one gets a qt of water I did go with Mr Rush to pick out a stain for the refurbished St Francis that he is doing for me. And spent some time on facebook with De looking at Christmas Designs along with autumn colors for her own line.
July 9 Thurs The warmest Day forecast for the week 95 at 5 PM. But no thunder showers which has been the pattern. I got the third light for the display case in Junes Salon and I order a couple of high intensity stick up lights also. They may give a better overall light then the goose necks. I really like the goose necks but changing the batteries is a real PAIN. Long horn steak house for dinner.
July 8 Wed. Another very warm day. my tomatoes continue to have flowere spot rot inspite of spraying them with Ca and Mag. I though i had that covered when I planted them. Well next time I will be right on it. The cucumbers continue to grow. De finished the most beautiful of her creations a black and white necklace and earrings. Truly beautiful. simple but elegant. St francis is being rejuvenated by the Rushes and is looking good for 50
July 7 Tues Man a hot one today I did make it to Michaels and wonder of wonders I found the beads that Di wanted she had gotten a set of eight figures but I got 6 stings of 8. Actually all they had. It was truly a lucky find as she had purchaed ers in Scarboro and I got them in Williamsburg
July 6 Monday Back to the grind I think I spend some time every day on Des Business. I did get an order for a wring today.Spent quite a bit of time on messagng with her about Christmas designs.
July 5 Sunday The 4th was really quite splendid. We had steak , corn on the cob, potatoe cakes and blueberry cherry pie with ice cream or whipped cream. And not only that but it was tasty. Fr and I watched the fireworks from DC and New York and then glory of glories we saw the finalie on the Verenda from Williamsburg. It was a humid night so we had the comfort of AC and the fireworks !
July 4 Sat Happy Fourth of July ! God Bless America and me on my offical birthday Yesterday about 20 of us went to Sals Resturant to celebrate my birthday and the 4th of July. Williamsburg needless to say is hopping with tourists. and this is a good thing. The tourist business has suffered greatly from the recession. I have my second tomato ripening albeit its a midget but at least I am getting some. Today is our day for mass so that takes up most of the afternoon getting ready for it. For some reason this does seem like a holiday even though there's nothing special happening except the fireworks tonight in HDTV
July 3 Fri As you can see we lost a couple of days partly because My daughter was here and partly because we have a new format website thingy. So there has been a learning curve. Today is my 70th Birthday... I find that incomprehensible like how did this happen. Last night we went to the River Walk in Yorktown that is my new favorite resturante Water View and ambiance. It was pricy because we bought a bottle of wine but I split the bill with Fr. Today we are going to Sals with some people from the Home here:-)
June 30 Tues Not quite as hectic today. Di and Cosette came over about 1PM for a second showing at 1:30. Not as busy however there was one sale and some lookers. Elliot and Carena went to Norfolk to the USS Wisconsin and the Air and Space Museum. We went to Michaels and bead shopped. tHEN dinner at Roccas which again went well. Then out to the Pottery Barn to just look as Cossete wanted to go back the the Yellow B (Best Western Hotel) She is quite the entertainer. And I will give her credit she was really very good on this trip . They are home tomorrw
June 29 Mon What a busy day. Di arrived at 12:40 and was on display at 1:30. She was busy until 2:45 meeting people and talking about new items and new orders. YThen they went to their hotel and about 4:30 we went to dinner at Sals Italian and then to the Visitors Center at Williamsburg and then walked downtown Williamsburg. I dont know about them but I was tired.
June 28 Sun Spent the day working on Trinket Tree house stuff. De arrives tomorrow
June 27 Sat Our turn for mass. the groups is down from the 25 regulars to about 20-22. At least 3 deaths account for that losss. We have not had any new folks for quite a while. And so many of the new people are quite limited in their mobility and mental acuity. Harvested 3 cucumbers and one tiny tomatoe.
June 26 Fri Well had an emergecy call that sent the lady to the hospital with either a dislocated hip or a fracture. The Social Hour which was a small group but very pleasnt time. I have another order pending for a necklace.
June 25 Thurs Spent the day working on the treehouse ads and then it was evening. I did get some Calcium and sprayed the tomatoes for slossen end rot. Lost two tomatoes to that already. I harvested one cucmber.
June 24 Weds We spend most of the day running errands which was from one end of town to the other. Then I was asked to water the up stairs neighbors plants and spent the evening hunting down a key for the guest suit for my down stairs neighbor.
June 23 Tues This was the barn burner the temps were in the high 90s and even a hundred with the heat index 112. Needless to say I did not venture out. The plants on the Verenda have faired quite well with additonal watering in the moring and late afternoon. I have the first cucmber abouit ready to be picked.
June 22 Mon A very hot day again. I made sure to water everyone on the Verenda. You know its hot when at 9 pm you cant stand to be on the verenda. Due to the dew point. Tomorrow its supppose to hit 103 F I will be monotoring the plants during the day. I have a cuke aboready to harvets and a number of tiny green tomatoes. We went out to the Bone Fish resturant and it was not a great success either for the food or the service. I had a lobster roll and It was awful. Lobster is lost with alot of strong flavors and I couldnt even taste it.
June 21 Sun Fathers Day. And a hot one. We continue to tweak the trinkettree house website and other materials
June 20 Sat My goodness another very hot humid day. Today was family day at the Reserve and many family membes showed up. I just realized thatsd why so many of the people live here its because their children live here. That makes Fr and I the only ones who are living here because we chose too. HMMMMMMMMM Well the tomatoes continue to bloosem and I have 8 small green guys on the vines. The roses died and thats it for roses for me. We did go for a short drive in Casper last evening and went to the Aberdeen Steak House. It was good but nothing spectacular.
June 19 Fri Another very hot and humid day. Todfay we had the memorial for Diane Capone with approx 60 in attendance. Fr really did a wonderful job with music and handouts Etc. I did get to drive Casper for aabout a mile and he handels very well. I have approx 7 small tomatoes on the erenda and we will see how the crop comes in!
June 18 Thurs Well the money has started coming in from the orders. And today we launched the website with our first customer and accepted a credit card payment too. Then the former head of Activitiers is now back as the Executive Directr and much joy in mudville. The final surprise is we have a new vehicle a white Jeep. Zacy was 11 years old and the salt of the Maine winters was taking a tole of the underside. The new guy is named Casper. We went for a very brief ride in the evening.
June 17 Weds The itemsd arrived and at first I thought there were 4 mistakes out of 8 orders but it turned out only 2 were in error, but I was able to use the stock supply to correct them. We continue to work towards a grand opening on Sun June 21 first day of summer and fathers day
June 16 Tues Again another barn burner. The peeps from here say this is unusually hot weather for June. And the Humidity is exceptional. Fr continues to tweak the web site. And I like the new opening picture of a forest. (I picked it out) Tomorrow a shipment of items is due from Maine. I am toying with the idea of another show here this Sat as its the day before fathers day. And tomorrow I have the last Lasik Surgery done.
June 15 Mon Holy Mother of God it was hot hot hot today the heat indesis was 112. We continue to refine the web site. Every day Fr works for several hours on it. I am expecting a shipment of finshed articles tomorrow so that will take up most of my day. We are going to photograph them as they come in saving their pics for the future web site upgrade.
June 14 Sun tODAY WAS AN INCREDIBLY HOT SUMMER DAY. We continue to work on the business website. As we launche it for the Beta Test with the offical opening next Sunday Fathers Day.
June 13 Sat Shopping done in the morning and again another hot one. We bought a Hummingham bird feeder. No taker yet. The Web site was beta launched.
June 12 Fri We continue on with establishing the business. Another meeting with Kelly at the Bank and secured a Debit Card for Deanna as this is her money. We researched the auditor and Fr has that email now. OMG IT WAS HOT (95while we were out and about.
June 11 Thurs And as forcast it was a HOT DAy in the 90's. i kept a watchful eye on the garden as things are really comming into flower and I dont want then to wilt as it affects the taste of the produce. This morning I retook most of the pictuyres for the newly renovated and upgraded web sit for Des Jewelry. It is now housed in Junes hair salon. It will be a great day when we received the first order on line. However this week I have received 4 orders with a promise of at least one more today. I am like Bro St Andre (the shop is dedicaterd to SDt Joseph ) so if he wantsd it to succeed then he will find us the customers. I did meet the lady from next door and invited her to see the chapel and the Verenda Garden, and invite her to meet the 6 PM gathering and they were splendid to her. I was called to see a fellow and his BP was very low and I encouraghed his son (hrough an intermediatalry that he really needed to be seen. Not so much for the BP but the potential in falling and getting really hurt. (OH AND I PROCESSED MY RENEWAL OF MY RN LICENSE ON LINE NO LESS )
June 10 Weds Well today was the long awaited fire drill and I had the second floor to my self until one of the activity people took the far end. I had three people who would have needed assitence from the fire department, however one left another feel that morning and the third did evacuate. The Jewlery is now in its new home downstairs in the beautfy shop and Fr has almost finished the on line shopping soft ware sshopping cart feature. Oh and it looks like De will be here June 29 th 30 and July 1 for a brief visit.
June 9 Tues What a really nice overnite at Virginia Beach. We left about 9:00 to stop in Norfolk at Christ the King Church Fathers First assignment after being ordained. The School was having their final mass of the school year and so we got there for the final hymn a hand clapping affair that Fr enjoyed. He talked with the priest a Uganda National.. And as I was waiting for them to finish a truck and car drove up with threee older people. And this lil voice said in my head I bet Fr knows them AND SURE ENOUGH THEY REMEMBERED HIM FROM 40 YEARS AGO. So not really wanting to get back here for a while I talked him into going to York Town for dinner at a really lovely resturant. After words we had to get a business license and that was just up the hill from the river walk so after an rather ROUGH beginning with one guy we ended up with the real person and all went well. However we lacked a State Tax number which fr was able to obtain on his cell phone. So I think we have everyh thing we need.
